Unparalleled data. Concierge levels of service.
Fast results. Absurdly affordable.
BACABA Market Pricing Services
Until now, getting reliable job benchmarking data has usually meant paying a premium for salary surveys from the big firms. The catch is that these reports are often already a year or more out of date, rely on convenience sampling that can skew the results and can take weeks—sometimes months—before you see any numbers.
It's also typically meant making a big commitment, financially and otherwise, spending a great deal of money and investing time and resources to manage the acquisition of the data.
Obtaining customized, credible market data shouldn't have to be this difficult or this expensive. Starting today, it isn't.
Here's how it works:
1. Start with purchasing data only for your jobs of interest. This might be only one job -- or five -- ten -- or even much more (there really is no upper limit). Pricing is on a per-job basis; why pay for data on hundreds of jobs when you only need data for a subset?
2. We'll team together to match your job to the best job in our database of over 18,000 jobs. You know your jobs; we know the jobs in our database, plus how to use our market pricing systems to establish a best match. Market pricing analyses will take place upon your approval of the match.
3. BACABA Market Pricing Services will conduct the analysis and curate a comprehensive report for the job. Central to our services, we provide the following market data for each job under review:
In addition, we'll produce an Excel version of the report for download so that you can load the data into your HRIS system.

We've designed our services to flex up and down to accommodate your needs.
About The Market Data

We rely on only one source of data for our analyses; after more than 40 years in the business, having reviewed virtually every source of compensation data on the market, we find that the data provided by the Economic Research Institute stands heads above all of the rest. We partner exclusively with them to conduct all of our analyses as their data and analyses are without peer.
The Economic Research Institute (ERI) is a compensation research firm founded over 35 years ago, specializing in salary, benefits, and executive compensation data for organizations worldwide. ERI compiles robust market data from multiple sources, including its own surveys, public records like SEC filings and IRS Form 990s, third-party surveys, and client HRIS integrations, covering over 48,000 jobs across 13,000 locations and 1,700 industries. It serves Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and governments for tasks like salary planning, geographic differentials, relocations, and prevailing wage studies. Their data is so good that it is the only source of pay data used by the IRS. Their database is updated quarterly so you never run into the problem of out-of-date data.
We rely on their Assessor Series for all of our analyses. The Assessor Series is ERI's flagship suite of analytical tools for geographic, salary, benefits, relocation, and executive compensation data. It analyzes thousands of specific occupations quarterly, matching them by duties, skills, and functions while weighting surveys for reliability, incumbent counts, and industry relevance. Unlike single surveys, it blends data dynamically—without fixed survey lists—to deliver mean/median pay, error rates, and job existence estimates across 10,500+ areas.
Additional information on ERI's methodology can be found below -
We said we were absurdly affordable -- and we mean it.
Plus, we're transparent in our pricing. Our BACABA member market pricing fees are a function of the number of jobs being priced and whether or not the job is being evaluated for the first time. You won't have to pay premium job-matching fees if we're largely just refreshing the data.

Pricing Scenarios:
To help you better understand our pricing schedule, consider the following three scenarios:
Scenario 1: You'd like our help in pricing 5 jobs and submit, for the first time, these jobs for our review
Market pricing fees: 5 jobs @ $299/job =$1,495
Scenario 2: Six months later you'd like to have another market pricing of these same jobs (no changes) performed again.
Market pricing fees: 5 jobs @ $249/job = $1,245
Scenario 3: You have 75 jobs you'd like market priced for the first time.
Market pricing fees:
75 jobs @ $199/job = $14,925
Scenario 4: The following year you'd like to have those same 75 jobs repriced.
Market pricing fees:
75 jobs @ $149/job = $11,175
